Originating in 1998 offering voice services in Japan, Telecall International Wholesale Division was created to support the company’s retail counterpart. From the outset, Telecall Wholesale has had internal pressure to provide high quality services at competitive rates in an extremely competitive market. With this philosophy, Telecall focused on the international telecom market and managed to achieve global coverage with strategic partners, providing today more than 600 interconnections with some of the largest operators in the world.
With enormous capacity to deal with different markets and cultures, our Wholesale Division has been able to support and adapt changes throughout the years. The first challenge being the 2005 launch of a retail product in the USA, one of the most competitive markets in the world.
The following challenge came in 2010, when the company decided to build its own fiber optic network in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and began offering local voice and data services for business.
In a short period of time Telecall has gained both national and international respect and has made history by successfully participating in the 2014 Olympic Games in Brazil and the 2017 Rock in Rio Festival.
After 20 years of success and exponential growth, the Telecall Wholesale Division is renown today as a Global Carrier with strong business relationships and the capability of adapting and dealing with the constantly evolving business challenges.
